InWishlistBot
InWishlistBot reads public product pages so people can save products to their wishlists and see when the price drops.
When it visits
Only when someone pastes a link to your product into InWishlist, and then up to twice a day for each product people are tracking.
What it reads
The public product page only: name, image, price and availability. It never logs in, fills in forms or adds anything to a basket.
How it behaves
It follows robots.txt (including Crawl-delay, rechecked at least daily), waits at least 3 seconds between requests to the same site and always identifies itself as InWishlistBot. If a site blocks it, it stops; it does not try to get around blocks.
How to block it
Add these lines to your robots.txt. The bot will stop visiting within a day.
